Great article. I really enjoyed this game a great deal playing it in 2013 or 2014 on Wii. I get the sense I enjoyed TD more than you, but I also preferred RtDL to Robobot (which fits your Kirby rule of "there are no bad mainline Kirby games"). There really aren't. I'd hoped for a new Kirby collection for the anniversary, and I have mixed feelings on the art style of the initial teaser for the RtDL remake, but I still plan to check it out. I'm hoping it looks better in person. In the meantime, I continue to pine for an Epic Yarn sequel. 🧶 An all-time fave for me.
